elizabeth grace is the founder of ställe studios, a treatment-focused facial studio in soho, new york that combines deep knowledge of medical and spa treatments in a boutique setting. she started her career in fashion before joining l’oreal to work for corrective cosmetics brand, dermablend. while there, she worked with top dermatologists, estheticians and plastic surgeons throughout the country on best practices to treat various skin conditions such as acne, rosacea, and melasma. she joined the dr.barbara sturm team to build the sales and training programs while also being closely involved in the launch of the eponymous product line at sephora.

inspired by her own lifelong battle with acne, elizabeth trained as an esthetician at new york’s christine valmy international school where she graduated with honors. she combined this training with her experience to join the founding roster of dr.barbara sturm’s first spa where she was highly sought after for her glow enhancing treatments. elizabeth has also consulted as a medical esthetician for a variety of dermatologists and for ject nyc where she developed their first facial programs.

in 2021 elizabeth was selected to join the violet grey curation committee, a community of top make up artists, hair stylists, estheticians, dermatologist and thought leaders whose expertise is sought to identify the finest beauty products in the world.

jolie is a new york state-licensed esthetician. she graduated with honors from christine valmy international school. using her background in product + ux, education and community engagement, her goal is to make taking care of your skin approachable and most importantly, enjoyable. she became interested in skincare while struggling with severe adult acne, eventually pursuing a career in esthetics after realizing her passion to help others better understand and care for their skin. in addition to working at ställe studios, she is a freelance beauty writer and content creator. her newsletter, hotline skin, is the #1 skincare newsletter on substack. jolie lives in brooklyn with her fiancé alex. when she’s not giving facials, you can find her on instagram.

shal is a new york state licensed esthetician. she graduated with honors from the christine valmy international school and with a bachelors of science in business management and human resources. she has worked within the customer service field for many years and thrives in helping others. shal had a shift in her career not only after struggling with adult acne and problematic skin, but the esthetics field has always been a passion to her. “my goal was to not only understand how to better the skin, but to also maintain a healthy regimen to keep the acne at bay. because of my own struggles, i am passionate about helping others heal and maintain their skin through consistency and care.”

carly horvath is a licensed esthetician who has practiced in manhattan, sag harbor, montauk, and sydney, australia. carly began her career in skincare working in a naturopathic skincare clinic, learning the most sustainable ways to optimize skin health from the inside out. this has given carly a wealth of knowledge to help clients heal their skin from a holistic approach. She has gained a loyal clientele, thanks to her passion for the energetic exchange of guiding her clients into an elevated state of peace and calm, while achieving their skincare goals and prescribing the best home-care regimen for optimal results over time. carly specializes in treating clients with inflammatory skin conditions such as acne, dermatitis, and eczema, as well as facial sculpting and pre-event treatments. as someone who has experienced her own journey to healthy skin, she cares deeply for each of her clients’ unique stories and seeks to help them integrate a mind, body, and spirit approach to achieving their desired skincare goals.
